debraDdesign: Debra has worked in the art industry for 17 years publishing major artists, as an artist agent and as a consultant for major hotel, residential, corporate and commercial art installations. She has decided it is time to produce her own work. Debra’s present work has been influenced by major mid century artists, decorative objects, textiles, antiquities, architecture and fashion. Debra comes from a family of jewelers, artists, a clothing designer, a teacher/writer and dancers. Her formal studies in Southern California include fine art, jewelry design and ceramics. Debra trained with Mission Renaissance Academy which allowed her to teach children a classical approach to drawing and painting. Her work is passionate and expressive. Debra uses the mediums to create work that interprets nature, design and art at its purest level. My newest passion are the design of fabric patterns created from my paintings and photography.
